Tesco faced some backlash from their Christmas 2017 advert which showed a Muslim family celebrating Christmas which angered many people who found it disrespectful. In addition people threatened to boycott Tesco because of the belief that the supermarket is selling unlabelled halal meat. They would communicate with Tesco through social media, petitions and feedback forms so that they can get Tesco to see from their perspective.
