An allergy is a condition in which the body’s immune system is responding to vigorously to a body. Something that enters the body that doesn’t belong there and body reaction causes symptoms that are known as an allergic reaction. An allergic reaction can be life-threatening. The symptoms can be rashes like eczema, breathing trouble with wheezing, swelling, stomach cramp and vomiting. The allergy that can have an impact on a child is skin allergy, children with skin allergy needs to avoid chemicals like soap, and paint etc.As skin condition can be itching and can lead to an open wound and bacterial infection. A helpful measure is to have cool compresses on an itchy area or cool bath followed immediately and lotion, cream, ointment should be applied to hold the moisture in the skin. In daycare center if a child has allergy should be protected from contact with material that the child is allergic, if a child who has allergies goes out from school campus for field trip, it may be a good idea to make a child wear a bracelet with information regarding his allergies so in case of emergency the staff are aware to do what if a situation gets worse.
